Two Days Out with Baby: Orchard & Punggol Edition
Weekend Well Spent! Last weekend, we took our baby out to Takashimaya for a bit of window shopping. Since we live along the North-East Line (the purple one), we hopped off at Dhoby Ghaut first, then transferred to the North-South Line (the red one) to get to Orchard. We made a quick stop at ION Orchard to check out Lovet, a clothing store I've been wanting to visit. Sadly, the queue for the fitting rooms was way too long, and my baby was still napping in the carrier, so trying anything on had to wait for another day 😓 Lunch, Naps, and Pastries Before heading over to Orchard, we grabbed lunch and let the baby nap first before continuing the journey. About an hour and a half later, she woke up refreshed, so we swung by Bengawan Solo for some pastries. We picked up a Pandan Chiffon cake — her absolute favourite — and some Kueh Lapis, then sat down for a little snack break.
